I am inclined to give them one more try because I do love the restaurants, spa and the dealers at the tables. Thank you for letting us know. There is not a lot of privacy is sharing with others. The buffet, the steakhouse and other restaurants remain the same and all provide good service and staff is generally friendly. The housekeeping staff was friendly and as I mentioned, the room was very clean. Mike Reed. The breakfast buffet was disappointingly sparse, and as a vegetarian I had a hard time finding much to eat other than carb and sugar filled pastries or slices of melon and pineapple. They confirmed to me that they did not call me or the room and they were not told there was any issues and thought it was done. When I play, I want to have fun but once it becomes work, it's no longer fun. Will be staying at the Hard Rock, very soon! The staff was great, the food was just a bit of a let down. Just got back from a stay, room was good. My last 6 visits to the property, at least 3 times the average bet they had per a hand was significantly incorrect. New Platinum tower is awesome - be sure to ask for water view, we got stuck with city view. This is a great property with friendly and helpful staff. Bad choice stay at the Beau Rivage!! I previously wrote a long review about this property in November of last year on TripAdvisor so I will only briefly touch on the good things that have remained and what has changed since that time as well as the negatives that have cropped up and for whatever reason are not being addressed. Like I said earlier in the review, no one is perfect and mistakes happen, but it is how you handle and resolve an issue that dictates the guest experience. We will also be sure to follow up regarding the air quality. The front desk was painfully slow moving, both at check in prime time and check out very off peak time. I was able to get it corrected, but as a player why do I need to constantly fix something that should be routine for them? The rooms are amazing, but probably best for couples. I understand that no one is perfect, but when a problem arises, especially one that the hotel staff themselves created, it is how you resolve it that means everything. Room was not ready at check in, garbage at the pool was not emptied and ants all over the garbage, my wife got bitten on her feet and had to take an epi-pen shot to stop the allergic reaction, Mr. It's come to the point where if a select couple of people are the floor person, I wont even bother playing at the tables they are overseeing since I know they cannot properly calculate it and will need to get it corrected. The Not So Good Gaming If you are a table game player, it is essential that before you leave the table if you were betting 25 or more per a hand, that you ask what you were getting rated at. There is also dollar, 5 dollar and all the way up to dollar denominations if that is your style of play. Spa The Rock Spa is small compared to most others in the area but the staff there are some of the best around. I visit it on almost every visit and never had a bad experience. I was excited to be staying here on my first trip to Biloxi, as I've been a guest at the Vegas Hard Rock multiple times and never had a bad experience. To make matters worse, the staff member threw the employee that checked me in under the bus, as they already went home for the day and were not there to defend themselves. The Good: Restaurants: The new owners have added several new restaurants including an Oyster House which everyone loves and most recently they have just added a Pie Five pizza restaurant which is suppose to get your pizza to you in 5 minutes or less. They are welcoming, accommodating and respond to your needs and work out kinks you didn't even know you had. Beverage service most hours remains quick. Security could be better in hotel part - I was walking back to my room late and was uncomfortable with no security and men hanging out in hotel area. This, of course turned out to be false since I received no such call on my phone and no voicemail and there was no missed calls or messages on the room phone. After I was assured of a request that is very important at check-in, I went about visiting other parts of the property. I'm sorry to hear that you had a negative experience at Hard Rock. Dear Josh L, Thank you for your review. The fact that an employee and shift manager would blatantly lie to a guest me about the events that transpired is unacceptable. As far as slots, they still have a large selection of penny slots with dozens of different themes. Everyone made my stay wonderful, from check in to check out. We were on the 4th floor and I was surprised by how noisy it was at night - I have never had a problem with noise levels at other Hard Rock properties. The location is beautiful and close to the beach and other activities. The pool area is lovely although the bottom of the pool has some surprisingly steep slopes! They were previously made aware of some of the issues but I have not seen change. Go during the week if you can, or consider staying elsewhere. Parking is easy garage. They've made some of the rules more player friendly including on many blackjack tables the dealer now stands on soft 17 instead of hitting as most other places still hit. Hotel The hotel is a huge "black eye" at the Hard Rock right now. I've noticed the air quality in the casino is getting worse, before you would not reek of smoke. The staff member there proceeded to lie about the circumstances of what happened and the front desk manager came out and did not have a solution. Staff in the casino are friendly and if you do not understand a game they will explain it to you. Beds were shockingly lumpy and uncomfortable. Paul Juliano actually took the trash can off himself and had an exterminator there in about 30 minutes, unfriendly wait staff, turned the BOSE stereo up to 45 and less than 5 minutes a knock at the door witch I herd easy enough to answer and a gentlemen told me they had a complaint about how loud the music was, I said you can clearly hear the music from the door and it wasn't that loud, he told me the walls were thin and I would have to turn it down We will not be back!! Just needed a break from everything. Please fix the air filtration!! We want Hard Rock to be a comfortable environment for all of our guests. If it is inaccurate, your comps and offers will be affected. Gaming: The gaming floor was shifted with table games in separate areas now and slots moved around. If they don't fix their customer service problems, their latest campaign to get table games players to play at their property is going to fall flat on it's face as players talk to each other. So I packed up and went down to checkout early as a nearby property was able to give me a room and honor my request without issue.
